What is the Back Check according to Dr. WOLFF?
- The back check according to Dr. WOLFF is a multifunctional, mobile measuring system for the scientific analysis of the strength capacity of different muscle groups.
- The measurement is taken in an upright position. Under these conditions, which resemble everyday life, the following crucial posture-relevant parameters are recorded:
- Strength of the trunk muscles: extensors, flexors, lateral flexors right/left- Strength of the upper body muscles: push and pull of the upper extremities
What is the benefit of a back check according to Dr. Wolff?
- It is a promising way to measure back fitness, which does not take much time, as the measurement only takes about 30 minutes.
- This test can detect muscle weakness and imbalances in the musculoskeletal system. These muscle imbalances can cause poor posture or postural weaknesses, which can lead to long-term shoulder and neck pain or, in the worst case, herniated discs.
