The curved shape of the bar rests on the cervical vertebrae, thus safely distributing the primary pressure load to the broad trapezius muscle. The curved shape and the specific knurling ensure that the barbell can be securely held even with extremely heavy weights. The lowered bar significantly reduces tension in the overhand grip, reducing pressure and potential pain in the shoulder area. Furthermore, the lowered bar lowers the center of gravity, thus reducing the strain on the lower back.
With a handle diameter of 32 mm and the extra long weight plate holders of 463 mm, this bar can withstand extremely heavy loads and stresses.
The Buffalo Bar is not only ideal for squats, but also for other exercises such as lunges and shrugs.
