Medically based training of the deep core muscles
The itensic principle for improved body stability is based on a simple idea: While training on conventional exercise equipment stimulates large and superficial muscles with rotatory (twisting) movements, the itensic equipment uses translational (straight-line) movements over short distances to stimulate the muscles.
These straight movements specifically train the short, deep muscle fibers located close to the pivot points of the joints. The result is an intensive stimulation of the muscles that provide stability in the core of the body.
Your own body weight serves as the training weight. To increase the training load, additional weights of up to 50 kg can be added. The linear, forced guidance of the training movements ensures that only the intended muscle groups are specifically targeted. Since other muscle groups do not have to compensate, the entire muscle work must be performed by the muscles to be strengthened.
By guiding the movements, the lumbar spine is almost completely stabilized, making training possible without the risk of injury.
